Our family likes to take pictures. We like the aesthetics of the scenes we capture – the colours, the shading, the symmetry or asymmetry of the view. Mostly, however, we like what pictures say about the world around us. We tend to shun photoshopping our pictures, fearing we might cover over the very thing that prompted us to stop and gather the moment.
Here are a few pictures – or thoughts if you will – direct from our recent weekend get-away. I hope they give you a moment of relaxation in the midst of your work-week.
